To refine this natural talent, he trained at the prestigious Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management. Here, he mastered the discipline of classical French technique while maintaining the integrity of traditional Sri Lankan flavor profiles.

Chaminda's career is a journey across three continents. After refining his skills in luxury hotels in Dubai, he brought his expertise to Canada. Today, he serves as Executive Chef at REAL District in Regina. He leads an exceptional culinary team under Levy Canada, crafting menus for everything from private events to massive conventions.

His excellence has taken him to the national stage. Chaminda represents Regina at prestigious events like Canada's Great Kitchen Party, competing against the country's top chefs and showcasing the region's culinary potential.
